This recipe comes to us from one of my daughter’s best friends, Gen. My thanks to the Wickizer family.
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup peanut butter
10 oz. chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees
Beat together the first 4 ingredients.
Add the flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour into a large, greased and floured cookie sheet with 1-inch rim. Bake 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately spread with the peanut butter. Refrigerate until cool.
Melt the chocolate and spread on top.
Refrigerate until cool, cut into squares.
