4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup minced shallots (or onions)
2 cups thinly sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 cups finely diced ham
1 (10 oz.) package of peas
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. cooked fettuccine
salt & pepper
Melt butter in a heavy skillet and saute shallots 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and brown lightly. Stir in cream and simmer 2 minutes. Add ham, peas, and Parmesan and cook until heated through, stirring constantly.
Place hot fettuccine in a serving bowl and toss with sauce.
