Buttercream Icing

This is just standard butter cream icing.

1 pound confection’s sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
2 Tbsp. water (more if needed)
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat all, except vanilla, until fluffy. Add vanilla at the end.
A towel wrapped around the mixing bowl will keep the sugar from flying all over.
