Not exactly Boston Baked Beans…
Mix in an oven proof baking dish:
2 cans pork & beans (vegetarian work fine too)
1 onion, minced
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup Ketchup
In the old days Mom used to put a couple slices of bacon on top. Then came the “no fat” craze. And now we really just don’t eat meat so freely, so bacon is seldom just hanging around waiting to be used frivolously on beans.
Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours (more or less).
