Apple Crumb Cake

Crumb Crust

3 cups flour
½ tsp. Salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
Nutmeg

Mix flour, sugar, salt, and butter with dough blender (to make crumbly.)

Divide in half.  Spread half the crumb mixture on the bottom of a 12″ x 9″ pan.  Add filling (recipe below) to the pan.  Cover with other half or crumb mixture.  Sprinkle top with nutmeg.

Filling
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 apples, peeled and cored

Mix sugar with cinnamon.  Chop up 6 apples in a bowl and sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Bake 350o for 45 minutes
