Grandma Honey’s Chicken Soup

2 whole chicken legs
1 onion diced
2 stalks of celery, diced
2 carrots, diced
5 sage leaves – fresh or dry
1 1/2 quarts of water (really just enough to cover everything)
Salt (about 1 Tablespoon)
Black pepper
5 parsley leaves (fresh) or 1 tsp. dry

Simmer all together for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
